Hello there readers, I hope you’re having a great time and enjoying your weekend.
I am trying to act like this is another normal semester and also still looking for assistance on taking photos for the blog while awaiting my tripod. I am really trying to squeeze everything in my schedule because I believe I can. Lol!
So in the mean time I'll be making random posts trying to fill content in other sections of the blog. For those who have been reading my blog for a while now probably know how I vamp my ‘fro when I feel tired of it. I dye it!

The first time I dyed my hair with the help of my friends was when it was still itsy bitsy short, I dyed it some red color. And it was bomb!! Then last year I wanted to dye it blonde but since my roots were dark I became a copper head or a ginger if you like. And honestly that was my favorite color especially as my dark roots grew out and I had a lovely ombre.
Earlier in the year I had reached that road where I didn’t know what to do with my hair, so I did according to tradition…..dyed it. And this time I went for a new look which is almost similar to the red hair I had the first time I dyed my hair.

Now I have noticed one thing with hair dyes, the very first time I plunged into coloring my hair I used the Garnier brand and honestly it was gentle on my hair. After I washed out the product my hair felt so soft, I was very satisfied and worry free. But the second time I dyed my hair I tried another brand L’oreal and part of me was horrified as I washed my hair. It was very dry and it felt like steel wool and the texture felt like that even after I put tonnes of conditioner on my hair. My poor cotton candy puff felt damaged.
When I made a purchase this time ‘round I didn’t even bat a lash at L’oreal products, I headed straight for Garnier.

Results: Although I don’t have pictures of my hair to show I can’t tell where the dye went. I can’t see the red hair or anything, I just know my copper tips are gone. I'm not sure how long it will take to show or perhaps if I try taking a photo against the sun we’ll be able to see it. I think I should try that.
Tip: I don't towel dry my hair instead I use an old t-shirt, this is because the towel fiber/texture can cause my hair to snag in between unlike the t-shirt.
But on the side note I am really thinking of re-doing the whole thing but also scared of ruining my hair, especially now that I can tie a puff.

Have you ever dyed your hair before? what was/is your experience please leave your thoughts on the comments section below.

Thanks for stopping by.
