Hey there good people, I hope you are having a good start of the week. I am finally getting accustomed to being a graduate with a lot of time to work on my blog, so satisfying...but not for long.
Here is yet another quick post of my healthy drinks series, this is way more fun because you only need 2 ingredients.

I remember reading somewhere online that drinking a glass of warm milk before going to bed will help you sleep well. And I thought it was great to share it with my dad since, he is usually up at odd hours and also because we discuss a lot about health and natural foods. Not so surprisingly, he already knew about that and in turn he shared with me a detox recipe.
And this recipe features none other than the yellow staining culprit, Turmeric. This spice is well known to be rich in anti-oxidants and anti-inflammatory properties and that benefit the body, you can read up more about it here.

You basically just have to add about a teaspoon and a half of turmeric to warm milk and drink that before going to bed. What the drink does is help the liver in flushing out the toxins from your body and assist in blood purification.

I've tried this a couple of times and it was fine, I didn't specifically like its taste. But when something is beneficial for the health, I bet we tend to shut an eye on the taste and do something our bodies will thank us for. If you can't go without sweetening your milk you may always add honey into it.
