PORTABLE MAGIC: THE READING TAG

May 05, 2017

“Books are a uniquely portable magic.” ~Stephen King

Hey there lovely people. It has been really slow in here, i'm out of contents to post but not really because I have a bunch of drafts lined up that either need photographs or I just feel like I could do better with them.
Anyhoo!
Whenever I need inspiration, I like to read other people's blogs. So I came across this fun tag at the BINTIESQUE  blog and thought its a nice way for my readers to get to know me. So let's get into it.

1.    Do you have a certain place for reading?
I have the concentration span of a toddler, everything distracts me except my bedroom.

2.    Bookmark or a random piece of paper?
I know I have bookmarks somewhere in my stuff but I prefer folding the corners of my current page.

3.    Can you stop reading anytime you want or do have to stop at a certain page, chapter, part etc.?
I stop reading at any time…actually when I’m tired and the book is just meh!.

4.    Do you eat or drink while reading?
No, I’m usually very engrossed in the book to care.

5.    Can you read while listening to music/watching tv?
I can’t read a novel or a book when there is music or TV but hey, surprisingly I can read my notes even at the club 😅😅.

6.    One book at the time of several at once?
One at a time…although there was a time in Secondary school I could read several (3-4) novels at the same time.

7.    Reading out loud or silently in your head?
Hol’ up……read out loud? 😦😦

8.    Do you read ahead or skip pages?
I tend to skip pages when the book is boring.

9.    Breaking the spine or keeping it new?
I try to keep the spines new…and I even cover my books (who does that?!!)

10. Do you write in books?
Does underlining new vocabulary with a pencil, count as writing in books?

Also since we're onto books related matters, my reading material definitely needs an upgrade care to share some good reads?
Also, if you do take part in this fun "revelation", please tag me @Kaleidosvogue on any social media platform as I'd really love to read about it.
